The raven is my current favorite animal.

A nursery rhyme my MIL sings to the kids in German has this line:
"...When he falls in the ditch he will be eaten by ravens..."

I love it.

Yay! Yay for creepy tales for kids!

We love the whippoorwills. We get them every year here as they migrate through and they are quite allusive. I have only seen them 2 or 3 times in about 10 years, but you can hear them. And they are very loud, spooky too.

I think you look good, Ibram. Although I'd never wear those sneakers with a suit, I'm guessing that's the point. I don't think Ibby is trying to impress the 40 somethings.
