Bruce, Bruce, Bruce... conspiracy theory? I thought you were historically literate, man. :headshake Have you no better card to play than the conspiracist card??

That's right, Halliburton's not a US company any more, remember?

The billions to Haliburton are history, proven fact, not a theory, conspirital or otherwise... just ask the GAO. The more terrorists bush makes, the more money haliburton makes... another fact.

That, Bruce, is the conspiracy theory. Two Ls and a capital H in Halliburton, btw -- if you're going to convince somebody, you have to master the entire suite of facts.

The GAO doesn't create conspiracy theories.

Urbane Guerrilla 07-14-2007 02:06 AM

Yet the conspiracists shriek their resentment to the skies. They've been doing less of that lately -- which I had thought indicated a time of clearer thought!

I do not understand the resentment towards Halliburton, as I am persuaded they are the sole company on the planet that could mount the kind of logistic support they were contracted to perform for us. Sounds like money-envy to me, and it sounds foolish.

If you wanted a piece of that, you should have bought shares, as I believe Halliburton is publicly traded. Had I had the loose money, I should think I should have done so.

All of which does not change the fact that;

You jumped to the conclusion I was saying it was the cause, when I was saying it was the effect.

I got turned off by Sheehan a while back...she was doing an interview with Robert Siegel of NPR, and he questioned her about something. It seemed like standard investigative journalism. She then got pissy with him and the rest of the interview was shit. I dunno...she kinda reminds me of a female Michael Moore.

The Democratic leadership is so inept (I'm registered Dem... it is a LONG story) that it is just a joke to me now.
BTW, I am not a "Dem", I'm just registered that way for local reasons.
I'm voting for the weakest national Dem candidate to hurt them do Ron Paul has a better chance.
Another reason, my wife is registered Rep. We go through the ballots and whomever is the opposite of who we want to win votes for the biggest loser on the opposing ballot, we are a team.

Do you really think that Ron Paul has a cold chance in hell at being elected or is that just a feel good vote?
