Back when we were dating, my husband and I got caught by my roommates in college. It was not really funny, though -- they took the situation really seriously and used it as an excuse to get me to move out of our apartment. I really did not think that one time would be such a big deal -- especially considering the way my male friends dealt with those situations, usually by competing to make more noise with their own gfs. :D

The thread title did confuse me a bit, though -- where I'm from, "sprung" doesn't mean "caught," it means "aroused."

I was caught in a Ladies toilet in a pub- to my everlasting shame (about 3 years ago and I still cringe). I was having a fling with a colleague - he was in a long term relationship and I was single. We had a habit of going out and getting very very drunk together and the evenings always ended in intimate physical contact. Because he would always writhe with remorse the next day we never ended up anywhere comfortable (that would make it premeditated).

On the night in question we sneaked off down to the toilets, which were in the basement. We hadn't taken any notice of the time and were surprised by the barmaid knocking on the cubicle door and saying, "The pub's about to close, I suggest you come out now!" As we left, the bouncer leaned over to my colleague and said, "I suggest next time you want to shag your girlfriend you take her somewhere else" which he took to mean we were barred.

Had it happened in my teens I would probably have laughed it off easily. But because it happened in my 30s it just seems so sordid - affair, drunk, toilet, lectured my a bouncer - argh.

I've been busted a couple of times. The most recent was while I was being orally pleasured in the front seat of my Explorer (apt name, huh?) at Festival this year, when my son opened the back gate to get his drum out of the truck. Whoops. The other episodes were way back in my youth, when one had to be rather more creative about finding places to shag, and where the chances of discovery were considerably higher than they are now.

One instance was while parked back in the woods off of a trail in a local park (within a few hundred feet of where they found the kidnapped and murdered girl I mentioned several weeks back). My girlfriend was astride me as I lay in the back seat of my '66 Chevy, when several young men on dirt bikes came putting up. They all stopped and heckled, pounding on the windows and generally having a big hoot about it all. Fortunately, they left in a respectable amount of time, so we just carried on.

Another instance in my youth was while shagging a girlfriend in what I thought to be a reasonably concealed bower far back in another area park, well away from the parking and normal public use areas. I hadn't counted on the park maintenance truck full of people to come lumbering by, but they kept on going as they shouted out what were largely words of encouragement to me to do a good job and such.

I've never had what Pres. Clinton would term 'sexual relations' in any public places, but at one point I was steaming up the windows in a parking lot near the home of the girl I was dating.

At one point a cop rolled up on us and shined his flashlight on us. I am afraid I was a little testy with the officer, who appeared to find the situation amusing.

In a very crowded restaurant/bar in Georgetown, D.C. She sat in my lap. We did it just to see if we could get away with it. I think the waiter was definately on to us and he just smiled. Around 1983.

Got caught a week and a half ago, by the trashcan-emptying lady in a hostel in Prague. I've never dived for cover so fast.
