Did you take all of those? If so, they are very cool, nice job!! I assume you have a tripod?
We get lots of lightening too during good thunderstorms, but I haven't managed to get any good shots... |

Do they see amazingly cool lightning photos ... and ask if it rained? Do they eat their national faunal symbols? Do they stand in the blazing sun for five days and call it a sport? Do they eat a huge hot roast dinner in late December when it is 40 degrees C? That's right, kiddies, you've spotted an Australian! Excellent pictures Aliantha! |
Wonderful pics Ali. Thanks.

Wicked pics, Ali.

I didn't take them. Sorry folks. I pinched them from sites where people had posted the pics they've taken. Some come from friends etc. Unfortunately I don't have a camera that would do the job well enough.
Labrat: tripods are overrated. ;) |
Fortunate
I took this pic by accident when I left work a week ago. A storm was moving in and I wanted a pic of the sun through the clouds, I didn't even know the birds were there.http://thumb9.webshots.net/t/69/69/0...9eFIaYu_th.jpg

That thumbnail doesn't do the linked picture justice.
Nice one, paddle gal! |
They aren't birds.... they're bats, vampire bats... giant, teenage, mutant, blood thirsty, vampire bats.
