Please tell me what I missed. When did Pelosi say she wants to take MY land and MY money? |
Stop trying to play the middle man to stay in the favor of the cellar and start standing up for what you really believe.

WTF are you talking about? Answer the question.
When did Pelosi say she wants to take MY land and MY money? |
Bla....
Pelosi is going to tax the shit out of us... The death tax is going to be reimposed... the whore is going to further fuck this economy to levels of debit beyond the triple digits all ready realized... get on the bus dude. Stop trying to be everyone's buddy here. |
Wait a second. I dislike her for a number of reasons. But what you are stating is that she, in fact, didn't say she was going to take MY land and My money. I'm just not getting the connection. <confused>
Oh and what does that have to do with farming? |
People opposed to inheritance taxes like to connect them to family farms, as it seems like a logical way in which a sympathetic person could lose something more meaningful than wads of money as a result of the tax.
Of course, despite years of using this as a theoretical example, they haven't actually found a family farm that was destroyed by inheritance taxes. Dan Duncan's descendants thank the theoretical farmers for their good PR. |

It is indeed, but when campaigning against the inheritance tax, they get better results saying "think of the farmers" than "think of the children of the extremely wealthy!"
|
rhetorical/ You mean the inheritance tax they enacted? /question
|
Huh? I don't think that people who are campaigning against it are generally the ones who enacted it.

Now I see how that particular political party uses intimidation and peer pressure to force it's members in line. Thanks for the demonstration, Merc.
