At the time I went, I was not small or thin. It was almost 10 years ago. Since then I lost weight. It must have seemed like everyone was tiny in comparison.

That happens to my father and I when we are in Europe - especially in Spain, where there are equal amounts of British and German tourists.

Although I am proud to say in Amsterdam, the Dutch spoke to me in Dutch first :)
