If it was really spring, then Home Depot and Lowes are open to 10 PM. Nope. They are closing at 6 PM. Clearly spring has been canceled this year.

I wonder who we should blame?

Clear to partly cloudy today in Port Hueneme, some chance of showers on the weekend.

All the functioning restaurants are takeout. Gov Newsom tells us not to foregather.

lumberjim 03-20-2020 10:40 PM

Only 50 people allowed in home depot at a time. Lowes was normal.

This is nutz.

our stores have Xs on the ground 6 feet apart to indicate where to wait in line.

Today I bought a printer. It is a fucking essential. More's the pity

(oh and beer) I think I might try and celebrate spring by enjoying my fire pit this weekend. What's that, you say? 3C as the high temp? Don't be daft.....

Urbane Guerrilla 03-28-2020 09:00 PM

About the only things the local Whole Foods is out of seem to be toilet paper and how the beer bar is closed for the duration. The hot lunch -- sandwiches, pizza, such dainties -- is wide open, and produce section's full.
