Buffalo? Man, that buffalo is gonna be really pissed when he finds out how much he looks like a moose.

For the record, baby zebras (or any baby equines) are FOALS not CALVES. Bovines have calves.

More terminology -- a female foal is a filly, a male foal is a colt.

I actually got sucked into watching this movie recently. It was REALLY bad, but for some reason I just couldn't pull myself away from it.

My vote goes to albinism too. Better get some sunscreen on that nose.

Nope, baby zebras are born with all their stripes.
Zebras do have black skin over their whole body which makes me think they have white stripes on a dark body.

I used to have a tame zebra and it was interesting that the texture, length and thickness of his hair was different on his white stripes than his black ~ something you can SEE in the butt shot of that foal in the above pix.

I have a picture of another zebra baby from years past that was born with very light gray / cream stripes but isn't an albino.
