Among other things, yes. Also workshop space for LJ's collection of only slightly used power tools (our small, low ceiling'd basement has hindered his woodworking greatness), loft space for the kids to play in and fuck all up instead of the living room, etc. etc...
We'll be kayaking the Moose River and the Fulton Chain of Lakes for a week next month. I can't wait!

i have a few barns at home. i'll get some pics.

we store 2years worth of grain in one, Ploughing equiptment in the other.. Ours are all iron and metal tho.. none of this fancy wooden barn crap!!;)

The pic you showed looks awesome though! its huge!

Sun_Sparkz 06-01-2005 11:39 PM

oh and we normal people call them sheds..

wolf 06-02-2005 12:38 AM

In America a shed is a very small outbuilding that's not quite large enough to keep your lawnmower and weedwhacker in.

Good luck with that. In my experience, the kids will mess up the play room AND the living room
and the kitchen, and the dining room...

Built this myself, no plans, one minor injury, one summer, windows in clerestory not done yet.

Yes, the new studio is perfect...complete with a console record player and growing green things. Now, all I need is some more Nag Champa.

Sorry...didn't mean to hijack the thread. Just was so excited about finishing that painting yesterday.

Blue! :jig:
Great job, mad skillz etc... But we've already determined that LJ is not going to build ours himself, just the porch/deck thinger (to replace our scary back steps).

Are you gonna stay a bit this time?
