Gee, nice way to enter the Cellar! If you'll notice, there are a lot of snarky comments in here - no need to be offended - just walk away! This is the IOTD section, not the discuss the pros and cons of homo or heterosexuality - Lighten up a little!
And welcome to the Cellar!

If the gay guys were really trying to be flamboyant, they would have duplicated the original pose.

Since the guys aren't groping, they could just be clowning around, too. ;)

I know a lot of snarky comments go on. I've been watching for over a year. I've just never felt the need to join to comment on anything until today. I've probably missed most of the stuff that might have sparked a comment from me, because I usually see the pictures soon after they are posted.

This may or may not be the place to discuss the issue of sexuality, but I wasn't the one that brought it up. I see walking away from something like that as condoning it, when I can very easily stand up and say, "Hey, I don't agree." I'll lighten up when heterosexism and homophobia cease to be a problem.

Now, where's the little smiley that will let you know this was written with a straightforward, rather than snarky or defensive, tone?

And thanks for the welcome!

BTW...did anyone else click on this IOTD title thinking they were going to see Gene Simmons in a wheelchair?

Me too.

You're quite right, serious comment is allowed.

What about the guy on the left - he seems to have his arm around one girl but is well into tonsil exploration with another - greedy old so-n-so, or should that be lucky. lucky, lucky old b*****d!

Oh, and on the growth thing, heard/read somewhere that the only body part to continue growing as you get older is the ears - check out your old folk to confirm - strange therefore that old people get hard of hearing - I SAID STRANGE THEREFORE....

Happy Monkey 08-17-2005 08:47 AM

And the nose.

Look carefully, though. One's humping the other's leg.

I'm just saying.

Are you sure - I've noticed the expansion of ear tissue on a number of our senior citizens, but cannot recall having witnessed any sudden eruptions in the nasal area (I could have said that better) when performimg annual visits on various elderly relatives. Sounds more like a rumour put around by the likes of Jimmy Durante, Charles de Gaulle and more recently Gerard Depardieu to me

The guy mugging the girl in the red shirt is not the same as the one kissing the old girl behind them.

When I kiss someone of the opposite sex in public, which is rarely, I am indeed flaunting my hetrosexuality. Or maybe I'm flaunting the fact that I'm not a queer. I prefer to see hetro contact because it doesn't make me :vomit:

I was looking for Mr. Simmons, too...........

No. In fact, a cursory Google search suggests that continued growth of both ears and nose may be an urban legend.
