Exactly. And that was the point before the 'big meltdown'. I don't care if George Jr says it is so. His claim has no validity until someone with a patriotic attitude says it with believable reasons. If your reporter understood what he was writing, he probably would have noted how significantly advanced that new system is. He did not - just another reason that his credibility is lower. Happy Monkey's post is completely different. It provides significant details and comes from a source that demonstrates credibility on this topic. Happy Monkey's citation and Clodfobble's are almost 100% different even though they say same. Credibility is a major factor here.

Do you use Listerine? Are you also healthy because you have magnets in your shoes? If not, then why would you blindly assume that reporter got one detail right - especially when the only word could have been a typo? How would we know it was not a typo in Happy Monkey's citation? Because other information confirmed the reporter knew what RFID was and knew what he was reporting. Both citations have night and day significance.

Did you know I am a woman? Wait. Mr tw will reply with anger. It is what he does best.

Clodfobble 07-26-2007 06:53 PM

See, now if you were funny like that all the time, everyone would be happy.

Ibby 07-26-2007 07:22 PM

Yeah, tw, Clodfobble had no clue if it was or wasn't RFID, except for the fact that SHE WAS RIGHT THAT IT WAS.
Dumbass. Admit you made a mistake and back off. You were WRONG, tw.

Oh I get it now - the "tw"o of you share the email and the rest of us never know to whom we're talking. Very nice - I can see clearly now, the rain is gone. Wait a minute - we need proof - cite complete sources and images for confirmation,

Cited were no numbers why tw is female. Cite was never given. Why so much emotion? 85% of all problems are traced to lack of citations by mental midget CEOs. Were cite given, reader would never question facts stated. Numbers deny efficacy of Listerine. Burns mouth but kills no germs in vivo. Lesson from lying president is that missing WMDs have higher efficacy than Listerine.

xoxoxoBruce 07-27-2007 07:27 PM

Yeah, but I'd hit it.

Undertoad 07-27-2007 08:05 PM

Irrelevant. You'd hit anything!

xoxoxoBruce 07-28-2007 12:59 PM

I represent that.

Now this from EPIC:

EPIC Warns Federal Agencies About RFID in US Travel Cards
In comments (pdf) to the State Department and Homeland Security, EPIC recommended against the use of "long-range" RFID technology (which transmits personal data to remote tracking devices) in the proposed "PASS card" for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. EPIC explained that the tracking technology would jeopardize the privacy and security of US travelers. Earlier this year, Homeland Security abandoned (pdf) a similar proposal for US-VISIT travel documents, following comments from EPIC (pdf) and the Government Accountability Office (pdf). See EPIC's pages on RFID and US-VISIT. (Aug. 1)

EZ Pass records now being used in divorce cases:

Thats just great - for those who have nothing to hide, but the potential for abuse is too great.

"E-ZPass is an E-ZPass to go directly to divorce court, because it's an easy way to show you took the off-ramp to adultery," said Jacalyn Barnett, a New York divorce lawyer who has used E-ZPass records a few times.
Wow. I bet she spent all morning thinking up that clever quip.

xoxoxoBruce 08-11-2007 01:03 PM

She's a lawyer, that kind of quip just naturally slithers off her tongue.

At the heart of the new screening system is a theory that when people try to conceal their emotions, they reveal their feelings in flashes that Ekman, a pioneer in the field, calls "micro-expressions." Fear and disgust are the key ones, he said, because they're associated with deception.
Disgust? With the way air travel is going these days, disgust is suspect? Hell, nobody would be on the damn planes in that case.

TheMercenary 08-15-2007 09:05 PM

Snakes on A Plane, it really bothers me not.

RFID stands for
Radio
Frequency
ID
It don't matter if it is active (battery powered , transmitting a signal ) or passive ( obsorbing transmitted power and reflecting a signal back ) it is STILL RFID !!!!!
Worried about big brother reading your chip from orbit get you a Tin foil beanie:tinfoil:

Seriously , tin foil blocks the power getting to passive RFID tags !!!!!!

With a title like human chips I thought this thread was about Soylent Green. I'm so disappointed.
