Every time I post something, here is the latest:

But I don't think he really knows me since I am none of those things, but it does serve his purpose. :D

The FNG is standing far off the sidelines so he doesn't get splattered by all the flying shit (or errant footballs) that is/are being cast about.....

There seems to be a feeling of mutiny in the air.....Or internecine warfare....People choosing up sides, hoping to be on the winning one....Or not....(The silent majority is .....well, silent)

The phrase "mean spirited" being cast about......(must be demoncrats involved).....Name calling....Personalities being methodically ripped into shreds....champagne guzzling....(or bad wine).....Life's too short to drink bad wine.....

Is the Cellar going into the cellar?.....Or the tank?....Where's the Love?...What about the children?.....
A general feeling of meanness abounds.....Cliques?.....Tree houses?....
No kiss and makeup......Hate....anger....disappointment.....

Where are the funny, opinionated, well read, posters with witty repartee and thoughtful posts and discussions?....Where have they gone?....Is there really a bad vibe due to the autumnal equinox?

CCR Bad Moon Rising?

Stay tuned....

shit like this happens from time to time. it got pretty heated when dave left. again when hubris boy denounced the idiocy of the newer cellarites. the dust will settle a bit then a real world topic worth discussing will come along and draw everyone in so that we can hack each other up based on our opinions rather than our behaviors. good thing we're coming up on an election year...

HungLikeJesus 09-28-2007 11:12 AM

lookout, I'm sure you're right. I'm allergic to dust, so I just might step outside a bit while it's settling.

lookout123 09-28-2007 11:14 AM

step outside ifyou must, but leave a window open so you can hear what we're talking about.

Why not help settle the dust, instead of leaving it to others?

BigV 09-28-2007 01:39 PM

...by pissing on everything! Brilliant!

j.k.

lookout123 09-28-2007 01:41 PM

i had typed that exact same comment word for word but didn't post it because i figured no one else would appreciate it. Thanks BigV.

Cloud 09-28-2007 01:44 PM

be a part of the problem, not the solution!

er, I mean . . .

lookout123 09-28-2007 01:45 PM

If you aren't part of the solution there is tons of money to be made in consulting.

Griff 09-28-2007 01:51 PM

Nice.

How 'bout if you can't be part of the solution be the biggest baddest part of the problem.

lookout123 09-28-2007 01:53 PM

which political party is using that for their slogan now?

kerosene 09-28-2007 02:12 PM

I think pretty much all of the major ones.

Griff 09-28-2007 02:13 PM

The Church of the Militant Elvis Party, I believe.

The dust won't settle until we all stop dancing.

kerosene 09-28-2007 02:36 PM

Does that go for all types or just disco?

If you're not part of the solution, you must be part of the precipitate.

dude, making up words doesn't make you seem smarter.

Cloud 09-28-2007 05:23 PM

isn't precipitate the stuff that's left on the bottom of the beaker in chemistry?

;)

That's ok, V. I got it.

As geeky as I am, I can't believe I never heard that one before.

Particularly timely too, since I was just helping daughter #1 study for chemistry this week. I just went to share it with her and it turns out there's a poster of this joke in their chemistry class.

jinx 09-28-2007 09:30 PM

Isn't it a cellar cookie?

Ya know, I think Jeb's just too sensitive. Sure, some of you are complete assholes (currently focusing on Bad Joker Flint) :p, but hey, I'm still here...off 'n' on.

bluecuracao 09-29-2007 04:55 PM

Hey, that must mean you fit in. :p

;)

Drax 09-29-2007 05:02 PM

meh

Aliantha 09-30-2007 01:11 AM

Some people do go over the top with their comments and I don't think it's cool.

I have learned to ignore most of the shitty comments in my time here though. I've discovered there's no point complaining because there are too many people willing to say it's ok.

It's not ok, but it's not going to stop. Get over it or leave. That's the short answer.

If you find beat up, bloody and wound as tight as a drum, cute.

Chicks can get away with shit that you can't. It's like black people calling each other, you know, that word.

DanaC 10-02-2007 03:49 PM

True dat.

I routinely refer to female friends as chicks or birds.....which I understand is quite sexist :P
