Two things are making me happy today:

My best friend and I are OK again, at last.

I met a guy who has everything in common with my best friend, but he's available and interested.

Yea! I'm glad you guys made up. It sucks when people you love are mad at you and won't talk to you.

There's a protest march in downtown Chicago today. We got this notice from the building people:

"The Office of the Building has been notified by BOMA Chicago that a protest march demanding more responsible corporate behavior and action from Congress will take place later this afternoon."

This is why I love working downtown. I sit and read during my short commute, they sometimes hand out free stuff at the station, and from time to time there's free entertainment.

What a town.

No, I mean green, as in environmentally friendly.

It turned out he wasn't mad, he was scared that I would be mad at him over certain events so he was being avoidant.

I'm kind of upset, but not mad at him really. He's just being stupid with a woman who has abandoned and abused him multiple times over the last seven years... and I'm upset because I know she'll do it again, and I don't know why he's setting himself up for this. But it's out of my control.

I'm happy because it's Friday and my friend and I will be heading out to Knoxville tomorrow to spend the weekend with a buddy of ours! Yay, breaking free of the rut and having a mini-vacation and a chance to unwind!

I am happy because my schedule was changed so I can be off on Sat and watch the Six Nations finals at the Irish pub in town.

Knoxville TN? Is that close to Oahu?

I'm happy because I have a hiking date on Sunday with Mister-talks-a-lot.
