People buy chicks & ducklings and when they find out how much trouble they are, they dump them in the park. We've started trying to rescue them and relocate out to my place. I'm going to try to add a little side line of free range eggs. We'll really rack up right after Easter.

I swear to you they are alive & doing well despite the photo of her holding both.

We have chicks in school this week. Two yellow, two brown and one speckled.
Tiger is obsessed with them. He just loves the feel of them (I let him hold one, supervised).

I mean all the children love them, but it's like they are a magnet to Tiger, his body moves towards the enclosure at the back of the classroom even when his head is facing the other way and practising pirate songs!
