You created your own thread for this stuff - GO THERE.
Jim asked nicely and even provided a link to your own thread.

classicman 12-21-2011 08:24 PM

Apparently you two are the only ones interested in your betting comments and you already have two threads for it. Why can't you take it there and stop shitting on this thread? A link was even posted in this one for you.

I assumed jd was whip's sock puppet, actually....

W.HI.P 12-21-2011 11:36 PM

I'm still up for that bet if you have any balls left LJ.
I've only got this account, you have at least 2, if not 3...so its not really gonna kill you.
We can even bring the stakes down a little... like, we just have to change our name for a week, following the result.
So what you say? ..got any balls?

jimhelm 12-22-2011 09:15 AM

no... no balls.

I never said the packers WOULD win.. you said they WOULD NOT.

do you understand the words coming out of my mouth?

classicman 12-22-2011 11:39 AM

The Dallas Cowboys are 1-2 in the month of December but are still in position to win their division.
With a win in Week 16 and a loss by the New York Giants, the Cowboys would wrap up the NFC East.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys will have a tough time pulling that off. Not only are they facing a
streaking Philadelphia Eagles team. The Cowboys could also be without running back Felix Jones.
With an already depleted running game, Dallas is looking one dimensional at the worst possible time.

This can only mean a total destruction of the Eagles this week. When things look best,
the Birds typically fold like a card house in a hurricane.

Since the Colts have already been mathematically eliminated, one would find that comment absurd.
However, it is a fact.
The NFL is run entirely by gambling money.
It is for this reason, that the Packers have a 0% chance of winning the Superbowl this season.
Very much like the Patriots a few seasons back up against the Giants.
They would have had to dish out 18 billion dollars on the game alone.
That's a 36 Billion dollar differential.....not counting all the long term bets.
So you see? ...they're not running the NFl to lose money.
They must make a profit, and it is the gambling that provides the profit.
It is the perception of the masses that place the money that guarantee those profits.
The Packers are the guarantee. That is why they have as much chance of winning this years Superbowl as the Colts do this season.
So yes, of course the Packers are gonna lose.

I rest my case.

The only teams i see that could stand in your way to playing in the Superbowl is Atlanta or San Fransisco.
If it comes to playing one of those two, Your team will have a legitimate shot at winning.
The division is the key bet though right now, as i can't see how your team can lose it.
Even if you lose Sunday night against my Eagles, you'll still win it.
The division win pays 3.25 right now, and it is a certainty.

This was your stone cold mortal lock proclamation, made not at the beginning of the season but near the half. And who beat the Pack tonight? Who was it now, who beat the Pack? The NFC East winner who was not the Cowboys.

And you failed to show up two weeks ago, when the boys ended their season in not second place but THIRD place in the division.

got some nerve.

J.D.DIAMOND 01-15-2012 07:04 PM

Yes,you are right once again W.HI.P. lol. Now,since New England has no chance at all in beating the Ravens, the Ravens will shut down Tom Brady with ease and beat the Pats by 3 touchdowns easily.

So the Super Bowl will be Baltimore Vs. the Giants or 49ers,so I'm happy!! I like all 4 teams left so I don't care who wins now,Baltimore Vs. SanFran is a good Super Bowl,so is Baltimore Vs. New York(again) so thats the match up...cool.

And one sixth of that on the Superbowl.
That's some serious cash down there!
Weekly bets of a few grand are mickey mouse in comparison.

AFC South Division winner : Houston Texans 3/1
NFC East Division Winner : Dallas Cowboys 4/1
AFC Finalist : Houston Texans 6.33/1
NFC Finalist : Atlanta Falcons 4/1
NFC Finalist : Dallas Cowboys 8/1
AFC Finalist : Oakland Raiders 23/1
AFC Winner : Houston Texans 17/1
NFC Winner : Atlanta Falcons 8/1
NFC Winner : Dallas Cowboys 16/1
AFC Winner : Oakland Raiders 46/1
Superbowl Winner : Houston Texans 29/1
Superbowl Winner : Atlanta Falcons 15/1
Superbowl Winner : Dallas Cowboys 26/1
Superbowl Winner : Oakland Raiders 92/1

Out of all these bets the only one that came through went off at 3/1.

Good lord.

It's a defensive game, it always has been.
I can't believe people fall for the heavy attacks of the Packers, Patriots, and Saints.
A Ravens - 49ers match-up will be ideal.
Top 2 defenses from each conference.

My Houston bet almost paid me.
I failed with my long term bets, but I'm 100% on the spread so far in the play-offs.
3 more games left for perfection!

This would indicate that you did not bet against the Patriots, which we here feel is unlikely.

I hate you W.HI.P ! lol! The Patriots are my second favorite team and I put 25 bucks on the Ravens winning Sunday! Make no mistake about it,I'll gladly pay 25 bucks to see my Patriots go to the Super Bowl but if Baltimore wins I'll be 25 bucks ahead.... Please lie to me and tell me the Patriots have a chance Sunday lol
