Not at the new-age birthing center I used, but maybe they just weren't new-agey enough. And they repeatedly warned me against pushing while in the jacuzzi.... didn't want any birth goo in the jets.

You would think that Scientologists would require that all placentae be returned to the Center for processing and extraction of fetal stem cells. Between their obsession with money and some of their other nutty "doctrine", they could have their placenta and eat it too. Erm, so to speak... :3_eyes:
