When you come to FL, what do you want to do?
Something you can't do down under? Go to Disney, Klan rally, tractor pull, see some hippies (you may have some kinda' hippies there though), see wrestling at the flea market, NASA, Bubba's Mud Ranch (mug boggin'), local stock car racing (though you may have that too, concerts, manatees in the wild, Shamu, giant gun shops (you lost all of yours I think), Venice beach where you can find prehistoric sharks teeth, we will have to see.

Watch refugees float onto the South Florida shore...that could be fun. Kinda like dolphin or whale watching.

Aliantha 03-13-2007 08:45 PM

lol...the giant gun shop might be worth going to see. I want to see the beaches too and see how they compare to the ones we have here. I also want to see some of the countryside. I'm not really big on tourist attractions. I'm more interested in real life kind of things. Maybe winery tours? That sort of stuff.

Aliantha 03-13-2007 08:46 PM

we get a few refugees of our own sycamore. ;) Usually boat people from Indonesia or other asian countries.

The Florida climate isn't best for wine grape vines. You need to go to California or at least New York for that

elSicomoro 03-13-2007 08:54 PM

Missouri, baby...we live an hour away from 50-11 wineries, most of them with very good wines.

Aliantha 03-13-2007 08:59 PM

Hmmmm...I can only bring one carton home. That means I only need a few wineries. lol Although, I guess between the two of us we can bring two cartons, so maybe a few more would be in order.

UT...most of our wine growing happens in the cooler climates down south although there are a few in the warmer states. Nowhere near as many as down south though.
