I'll tell you. JBKlyde has a problem. He conflates homosexuality and pedophilia. It's a fairly common problem, and the root cause is fear and ignorance.

I have seen remarks by him, and others here, that link the two and I find it offensive. JBK's well known mental illness is no excuse and not the cause. They are two distinct, separate, different, unrelated behaviors. Homosexuality is being attracted to people of the same sex; pedophilia is being sexually attracted to children. Not the same.

Firstly, most importantly, pedophilia is a crime and homosexuality is not a crime. Everything else is different too, and to try to explain it to someone like JBK is pointless, a waste of time, unless he's interested in learning. There's no evidence at all of such an interest. So, I don't bother. But you have an open mind, and I am happy to draw your attention to the mistake he's made. In fact, I think I'll start pointing out this mistake more often. I wish there was a catchy name for it, like "Godwin's Law", but that's merely inconvenient.

Meanwhile, JBKlyde is an ignorant hater. Read his posts with that in mind.
