So sorry Limey, but you were supposed to get this and not the pasta and spoon. I just registered a complaint with Amazon UK. I do hope this all comes in handy the next time you are snowed in.

Yeah but I like what I got! I'm using the spoon as a spoon rest and it hangs on the wall by the cooker. AND it's got cock. What more could I want! (We had some more of the yummy pasta yesterday, too!).

Limey & I had a chat about this, me being the courier and all.
I never looked at the original picture, and the way the spoon rest was packaged I really thought it looked like a bowl.

"X is going to be really cross with me" I said, "they specifically asked me to check that the item delivered was the right one."

Limey said then what she said above. She loved her prize as it was.
And she does has some gorgeous crockery already, but no cock spoon rests unto this arrived.

Still, I am cognisant of the fact I was asked to check something and got it wrong, irregardless of the happy ending.

Nonsense. You went above and beyond, carrying all of that hundreds of kilometres. It was very close to the description of the item. My annoyance is entirely with Amazon UK. I know that they're not Harrods, but one can still expect them to get an order right.

I did look over the spoon gift basket in the online store. Didn't notice the cock. It does fit in with the Cellar meme.:p:

The other puzzle, anon, is why Amazon UK didn't recognise my postcode, when I am a regular customer of theirs. And yes, Sundae is a darling for fitting your generosity into her suitcase!
