wheat fields in lawrence, KS has some of the best sandwiches on the planet. their bread is no small contributor to that, as they're a bakery and make it all themselves. their olive bread is worth stabbing people over. i'm particularly fond of their cuban and their roast beef sandwiches. haven't been to that bit of the country in ages, but if anyone happens to be nearby, go there. you won't be sorry, guaranteed.
