A little stand-up from Henning Wehn, Germany's 'comedy ambassador' to Britain.
Found it very difficult to find clips that show him; most of his exposure here is via Radio 4. I adore him, he is so dry. On the radio panel shows he can always be relied upon to bring a strange but funny slant to stuff. Just a word of explanation: the compere for this show is Al Murray: Pub Landlord. He is played as a comic persona of a particular brand of nasty , Daily Mail reading, misogynistic, British patriotism. |

This must have been posted before, but even if it has, it's worth a second shot.....

Did not watch after opening the title... maybe it's a joke, but
How about some actual forewarning in your post |
Not a joke - Extremely graphic video. If you want to watch a man shoot himself in the head continue. Otherwise do not.

classic that was classic right there!

Re the Ken Barlow/ Harry Hill - where was that from Mons?
Bearing in mind the mater watches every Corrie episode, and we all watch TV Burp..? |
Wow Classic.
A short clip to show a big difference between Europe and the USA. And having been to Amsterdam it's a difference you can fall into and never find your way out of. Wow agin. Amusing clip also. |
Bear in mind, the new Family Feud is billed as a daytime "family" show on ABC, one of the more conservative networks. An American host on primetime television (that is, with a wider audience appeal, and in the evening when someone other than retirees and young mothers are home from work) would have taken a joint reference completely in stride, not even worth a second comment most likely.

extraordinary! this is *not* her perfoming, only her music and lyrics. But this kind of mashup is called an AMV, Anime Music Video, and this particular one has taken very specific samples from the series Death Note, and set them to this music. Misa, a character in the anime series, is ... clingy and determined and somewhat unstable. The song is a priceless expression of her character. Note how precisely the clips display the text of the lyrics. I love it! Anime geek note, there's a scene "nipping at your heels" where the dog is not from Death Note, but from Cowboy Bebop, my (one of my top) favorite anime series. Enjoy! the lyrics: Quote:

We watched the Big Lebowski with the girls last night. Lil' Griff made a connection.

Nevermind. It's already here.

Wondered where I saw that...

"How To Hide An Erection" as shown on a German kids' tv show.
from guyism.com "You Are Not A Werewolf". |
It's not really funny, but Albert Brooks is so good, and Holly Hunter is too. I laughed! I cried! Not really. Well, I laughed.
I did a search not expecting much after my reference to burying the lead from this movie. I never expected to find the exact scene. Good stuff! If you're a crazy movie buff like me. |

Excellent! I love stuff like this. This and machinima. |
I've been getting back into Never Mind the Buzzcocks just lately. For those that haven't heard of it, NMtB is a British, music based, panel quiz. It's been going for about 17 years. It used to have a regular host and two regular team captains, but the past couple of years they've been using the 'Guest Host' format. I much prefer the guest hosts to regular hosts, because the show has a different feel each week, depending on the host, whilst still feeling like the same show.
So, here's a clip of one of my favourite recent shows, hosted by David Walliams (of Little Britain). The two team captains Noel Fielding and Phil Jupitas (they sit at the centre of each team) are the only two regulars. To explain Walliams a little: he is a straight guy who is quite effeminate and an occasional transvestite, whose comedy partner (Matt Lucas) is gay. The press have had an unhealthy obsession with Walliams' sexuality for most of the time he's been famous. Fuelled by the fact he'll flirt with anyone, male or female. On the one hand he has been linked to a stream of famously beautiful It-Girls, whilst also appearing to be 'gayer than Christmas' as one reviwer put it. He was always cagey about answering those questions saying that it shouldn't matter. He's recently married a top Swedish model. |
he's very funny.
|
I've been on a bit of a Walliams kick just lately. That's what got me back into watching the Buzzcocks.
He's written a few children's books. One of them, The Boy in the Dress, has been nominated for all sorts of awards. The interviews he did around it are really interesting. |
