Bri! I'm surprised you're not at the "motivation" seminar at the Nutter Center today. I snaked out of it, though a lot of coworkers went, saying I felt I should hold down the fort here. One girl called and said it was like some kind of right wing religious cult. Another emailed me and said it was awesome. You can guess which person has more credibility with me.

Next on the agenda, right after Giuliani, they will pass around the Kool-aid a la Jim Jones, I think.

Yep...Forbes, Don Shula, Zig Zigler...etc. Hey, nothing against the people who are presenting...I'm sure they do have some great things to say, and there are things I respect about some of them, but: they will show you how to turn your life around, they will take you to a higher plane, they will motivate you right into the stratosphere! (They will sell you all kinds of motivational "equipment" before you leave.) :bs:

Yeah, I'm a cynic. Or perhaps I just have a healthy skepticism...but I have heard there is some kind of big sales pitch..though I don't know what they sell. This is why I will not be on the fast track to upper management, I think this kind of stuff is a crock. The newest wave. :rolleyes:

Those of us left in the office are sure they are going to come back zombie-like, muttering something about "achieving" over and over.
