I seriously considered the "fucking" part, but while it transmuted the "hard as a steel bar" hyperbole into reality, I haven't found a willing partner (yet). The proportions are within the design tolerances, but it is cold. Plus, I don't have the milling tools or expertise to shape it into something less... industrial.

I pick up stuff like this all the time, when I don't quite know what the ultimate use will be. But I do know that whatever it is that I produce that needs this shaft, nothing else would do. This isn't something I could improvise.

The chicken would either have to have a really big ass, or be a turkey.

You've got it upside down. flip it over and it's an ice cream cone holder so the customer can deal with change and napkin distribution.
