Thanks for the compliments...
The house was built in 1910 and we have called it home since '75.

The spirit of the original owner, Mrs Knox, still lives with us.
We know this by the "spot of coldness" in the downstairs bedroom
We love this place (raised our 3 daughters here) but my wife and I will probably have to downsize next year.

They did a good job matching the repairs to the original house. You can't tell what's old and what's new.

Yes, they did...

In the 1900's, lumber here in OR was "full dimension" here so a 2x4 measured 2 full inches by 4 full inches. With prior approval of the insurance company, our repairs were done with full dimension lumber sawed in a small custom mill up in the (bear infested ? ) woods.
