Holy cow, Shaw!

Looks like I might break out of 12th place and into 11th. Watch out everybody, here I come!

Good game, p-zone.

He was actually just in my office lamenting his teams lack of performance.

Seemed like all of your players had banner days.

infinite monkey 09-30-2013 10:32 AM

It was a fluke, but a fun fluke.

Clodfobble 09-30-2013 04:38 PM

Hmm. I still have one player left to play tonight.

He's a kicker. And I need 57.6 points.

Oh yeah, I'm totally gonna pull this off. This is the underdog story of the season, Chasers, so get ready for your soul-crushing defeat.

Holy Carp! I thought I was having a good week...

lumberjim 09-30-2013 10:09 PM

Meanwhile Spencer is in striking distance. Only down by 19 with a quarter to go

infinite monkey 10-01-2013 09:37 AM

you pulled it out though.

I got 2 awards this week:

The Black Flag award for outscoring my projected points by 180.8.

And the Most Satisfying Player for starting Phillip Rivers.

I'm bragging because it's been so long since I've done anything right (not just FF I'm talking about) I thought I'd take a sec and revel in these small and irrelevent accomplishments. Better than a kick in the pants. ;)

But I need to keep on it because Spence is slated to beat me this week by a kajillion points!

glatt 10-01-2013 09:45 AM

The Rats were very impressive.

My kicker only got me 5 more points! I can only blame my loss on blatant nepotism on the part of the judges.

(Nice job, Amanda! ;))

lumberjim 10-01-2013 12:18 PM

She only left 7 points on the bench, too. That will boost her coach rating.

lumberjim 10-03-2013 11:36 PM

Shaw, your luck continues. ... your qb tore his knee up last night. Looked serious.

Weeden came in and got the win, but he looked shaken. Buffalo has a pretty aggressive pass rush, and he was constantly running away from, but right AT the pursuit. .. like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Then again. ... he does throw deep to Josh Morgan... maybe he just wasn't ready because he got no reps. He was just coming off an ankle injury, so he probably hadn't taken a snap for 3 weeks.

EJ Manuel got hurt too. Also a knee. His was hyper extended and twisted, but I think Hoyer tore ligaments. (Season ender)

So, your boy Tuel might be a good acquisition. Depends on how long EJ will rehab. Or Weeden if you think he'll settle down after a long week following the Thurs game. The available qbs all blow.

Who had EJ?

lumberjim 10-03-2013 11:44 PM

Glatt did.

But he was riding the pine.

WR Steve Johnson hurt his back though, and he was starting for glatt.

Rough game.

infinite monkey 10-03-2013 11:49 PM

Not sure, forgot to follow it tonight but i did get the text from NFL.com that Hoyer got hurt.

Sorry Brian Hoyer. Twere my bad karma that hurt yer leg, or whatever. I pick Tuel back up and he'll die in a plane crash or something.
