i've never been a fan of wayne as a coach, but i think he's starting to catch on now.
the team he has built is actually pretty good.
the addition of bryzgalov in net and jokinen at center are huge and now make this team a competitive force in the abosulte elite division in hockey. i would not be suprised at all if this team goes deeper than most expect in this seasons play-offs.

boston bruins

i've already hinted that the bruins were 1 of the 4 in the montreal reco;
the bruins have since dominated all teams in hockey, and now people have to start facing the reality of the bruins goaltender thomas who is a brick wall. this team is young and for real.

edmonton oilers

lets not forget that this is a team who made it to the stanley cup finals with chris pronger leading, leaving his teachings in defence.
the oilers have since added some very key players into the roster, mostly on the defence, but also some youngsters.
the key reason for this bet is that the division has become a little weak.... the canucks without luongo will certainly not be a contender.
the wild with gaborik is a very exciting team, but he's not playing, and if you look within the roster, its not really that impressive, i can't see them lasting. colorado seem the weakest despite some runs that they will have when their key players get in form.
the flames seem to be the oilers main opponent to win this division, but as i said above, the rest of the lines are not quite up to par.

st. louis blues

the 4th team that was left was the blues.
now this is a young team that will be competing with the blackhawks for this division in years to come.
its probably not time to be betting on them yet, but at this high price, a few coins can't hurt.

Washington Redskins vs New York Giants(-5.5)

probably the two best teams in the nfl in a preview of a later play-off round for sure.
with all their weapons , the redskins are superior.

believe it or not, with the broncos season over, due to injuries to their key players on both sides of the ball, this division is open for grabs.
the chargers and the raiders are in a race to surpass the dead broncos.
mcffaden and fargas will run all over this very weak run defence.

just a huge game here, as it is a 2 horse race in this division.
the bears defence is even better now that their offence is working allowing them to rest.
the bears passing game will work against this minnesota defence.
forte can catch the ball if you haven't noticed.
the bears are a force in this nfc.

both of these teams are capable of going pretty far in the play-offs.
