You may want to look into logical fallacies. This one is called "guilt by association." Learning what a logical fallacy is and how people use them to try and get others to accept fallacious arguments helps sharpen critical thinking skills no end. And that is a gift no money can buy.

Well, the IP was traced back to the same city as a Cellar user who had posted on PD before. Someone jumped to a conclusion. It was a mistake, but an honest one, and I'm sure they know this is the case by now.

Well mods can normally see a user's IP, and specialist sites of varying qualities can trace it back to a general geographic location. Anything more refined would have to come from the ISP.

Well this is my style of posting. I like to deal with people as individuals, on a one to one basis. It might look like nitpicking, but its a structured way to deal with multiple people, I find.
