A built-in indoor trampoline?

A landing pad for alien spaceships?

Can you give a hint, because this one is driving me bonkers.

It certainly looks like a drum head. Why all the markings?
So that you can customize it, artistically?

Flint 03-25-2011 10:24 AM

Nope, nope, nope.

Think about the materials...how it was made, and why.

footfootfoot 03-25-2011 11:14 AM

I see paper, tape (double stick?), and small markings at regular spacing, maybe every inch?

Are they for plotting some sort of graph or enlarging or reducing a drawing that then gets transferred to something like a drum head? Are you going to Peartify your drums?

Is it something to do with some kind of satellite dish?

HungLikeJesus 03-25-2011 12:37 PM

Is it a template for making drum heads?

Tulip 03-25-2011 01:00 PM

is it a template for putting a design on a drum head?

Flint 03-25-2011 02:31 PM

Please, allow me to relieve you of the misapprehension that this has anything to do with drums, drum heads etc. It doesn't.

footfootfoot 03-25-2011 02:58 PM

What kind of head is it for?

infinite monkey 03-25-2011 03:04 PM

So, does it have something to do with drums?

A base for a pop-up tent?

glatt 03-25-2011 03:13 PM

Is it a template for a sumo robot battle ring?

footfootfoot 03-25-2011 03:58 PM

If those are 1 inch spaces it is ~20" dia.

What is the material? Paper? Why the tape at the circumference?

footfootfoot 03-25-2011 04:00 PM

You're making an air gladiator ring
