well.....do you?

you're a night owl like me. okay, i'm avoiding the topic.yes. i pick my nose, but i don't eat it, and i only do it at home and i wash my hands before i start working.

A psychiatrist told me once (he was a buddy and not my psychiatrist :-) that everyone picks their nose and that one could no more not pick their nose than not go to the bathroom.

But not everyone rolls their boogers into little balls and fires them off the 2nd floor atrium balcony.

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose... but you can't pick your friend's nose.

Who doesn't do a little mining for natural nasal resources? It's normal and healthy. Just don't eat it. There's a reason your body collects used mucus and shows it the exit... it's full of nasties.

In junior high school I knew a kid who would pick his ear and eat it. God that's nasty. Made my skin crawl a few laps around my body to observe that one. Gah.

It wasn't a pick it was a scratch! Honest

There was a girl in high school who would pop her pimples and eat the little white things she squeezed out. Ewwww! *shudder*

I can stand to watch any manner of disembowelment, maggot-infested sores, poop flinging, or other "gross" stuff without any physical harm. But if I see where someone has wiped a bloody booger on the wall of a toilet, I have to clench my teeth together to keep the vomit in.

That's just so nasty. And the paper is 6 inches from your hand. At least wipe your finger with it. Your abstract paintings are not appreciated by this viewer.

Oh. I do pick, btw. I just dispose of properly.

According to the survey so far most of you eat it too, i wonder why this is?

i mean:

we bite our nails and spit it out, we pluck and trim things we throw away, but why is it that it has become from an early age an almost acceptable natural thing to eat snot? why is it any different to crusty,eye sleep or pimple puss or ear wax.

Im a bored young lady in an administration role.. if i left here i'd have nothing to do all day :)

You know what sucks. when you have long nails and you cut the inside of yuor nose whilst picking (not from personal exp. of course)

or you get a nose hair caught in the edge of a split fingernail, and pull it out with the booger. ouch. ick. ouch

i pluck my nose hairs

3 or 4 at a time. I'm a real man.

i wipe with 80 grit sandpaper, too.
