Weights? How much are you?!

I was bored so I am wondering how much people weigh. Please post how much you weigh IN POUNDS. Then post if you are musuclar or fat.

hugefatguy 09-09-2006 05:21 PM

I weigh 782 pounds and I am fat.

BrianR 09-10-2006 12:37 AM

Fat ain't the word. You are morbidly obese.

I am 225 as of Friday noon and I'm not fat, just fluffy.

Clodfobble 09-10-2006 09:36 AM

I seem to have settled in at 145, which is 10 lbs. heavier than I was pre-baby. I'm okay with that for now, but when this goddamn scar finally stops hurting I'll start really exercising again.

Doesn't "fluffy" imply "light" as in cloud?

No serious jabs intended, of course :) All is in fun

I don't give out my weight. But hey, there are two of these kinds of rules with regards to us gals- don't give your weight and don't give your age. So I'll break the other rule- I'm twenty.

Stress Puppy 09-10-2006 10:42 AM

I'm currently resting at 157 and mostly that's muscle.

Trilby 09-10-2006 11:14 AM

I won't tell you my weight (see the 42's rule, above) but I will tell you that my weight is entirely made up of angst, anxiety, laziness and ice cream.

Brett's Honey 09-10-2006 11:18 AM

I guess I am lucky that for some reason I only had to fight weight gain when I was younger - when I was 19-23, I went up and down from 115 lbs to 135 lbs. I am small, so 135 is chubby on me. I had my kids at 27 and 30 yrs old, and ever since, I've stayed at about 110.

Edited to ask: 782 lbs....really???

Hoof Hearted 09-10-2006 05:06 PM

June 2005 I was 111# (muscle LOSS). I have ulcerative colitis that is non-responsive to conventional treatment. I began seeing a new Dr and she put me on steroids and I gained 40 pounds (fat, water retention). We began chemo and I developed jaundice, so we stopped everything and recently began the steroids again.
Currently I am about 135#, but I expect to gain with the steroids. I am eating small portions, hoping to keep the trend going...but steroids make you think you are STARVING and I eat, Eat, EAT!

Mother and Sister have always been heavy, I never have. This past year was the first time I ever dealt with any overweight and clothing fit issues, though through my lifetime I've seen my mom and sis deal with them. Mom is doing better, weight-wise, sis is not.

HFG, what are you doing to help yourself? I wish you luck and success!

My weight is an "issue" at present. Not prepared to post it but it's correct for my height. If I was carrying a supermodel on my back I mean.

The speech marks denote it is not a naturally occuring problem that I should be comforted about. It is a personally engineered problem that I should go on a talk show about.

lookout123 09-11-2006 09:05 AM

151. it's not just for cool frat boy tricks anymore...

Meiso 09-11-2006 10:32 AM

I'm about 185, but my metric ->imperial conversion isn't great. As for muscular\fat... I'm odd. I'm a relatively muscular guy (not like a body builder or anything, but probably above average) but no matter what I do I can't seem to shift the fat I put on when I started university. So it's muscle under a layer of vodka-fat :-)

Sundae 09-11-2006 10:56 AM

Vodka fat? Oh lord, when you die can I cut you up to fry things in? Sounds like my ideal treat!

Shawnee123 09-11-2006 11:09 AM

How much are you?

If you have to ask, you can't afford me! ;)

Stormieweather 09-11-2006 11:43 AM

About 30 lbs heavier than I should be. I don't advise women to have a baby in their 40's if they care too mcuh about their weight. Oh well, took me 3 years to lose the pregnancy fat from the previous child. This one is only 15 months old, so I still have some leeway. I think that is a fairly reasonable justification, don't you? Right? /nods to self.

Stress Puppy 09-11-2006 12:36 PM

From 15 to 22 I was the same weight (about 135 lbs) no matter what I did/ate. Then I had some personal stuff, lost twenty pounds, so dropped to about 115 (I'm 5'9"). Then they put me on medication that slowed my metabolism and increased my appetite, and at the same time I was working a full time job that involved sitting at a desk, and I was also going to classes full time, sitting at desks. So I shot up to 160, which is huge for me, but I guess the 'normal' weight for my height. I've sinced ditched the meds, started watching my diet a bit more and working out a lot. I don't mind weighing 158, but I'd prefer if that weight was muscle.

mrnoodle 09-11-2006 01:20 PM

I gained about 20 pounds from a thyroid problem. Lost 15 of it from taking medication, so I'm at a fantastically untoned 180. If you got rid of the fat and atrophied muscle I would weigh whatever my skeleton weighs.

I'm working on it though.

Holy stickboy batman. Please tell me that you have shed pounds with what you have been through in the last year, and that this isn't what you normally weigh. Unless you are 5'4''.

I'm within the 'healthy' BMI for my 5'2'' frame.

glatt 09-11-2006 02:07 PM

I weight the same as I did in April, June 2005, and also in August 2004.

What's changed is that at my last checkup, the nurse said I was an inch shorter than I thought. I'm almost 40. Am I supposed to be getting shorter already? I always liked saying I was 6'2". It sounded dignified or something. Now I just sound like I'm trying desperately to tell people I'm over 6 feet when I say I'm 6'1".

breakingnews 09-12-2006 01:58 AM

i'm 5'9". weighed 165 at the peak of my athletic career in college; ballooned to 185 after breaking my ankle (feb 2001) and giving up sports for the newspaper. i was about 202-203 at graduation in may 2003.

i was 192 at christmas 2005 (i hadn't weighed myself for more than a year).

this morning i weighed in at 76 kilos = 167.2 lbs.

grazzers 09-12-2006 03:42 AM

6'1" and 150lbs, although maybe lass as I moved out from my parents house a couple of weeks ago and maybe havent been eating as well as I should :). No matter what I eat I can never get above that 150 mark, the advantage of being 18 I guess.

Bullitt 09-12-2006 05:34 PM

I was a tight/loose end prop on my rugby team in high school about 3 years ago.. and not much has changed since

Mr. Ears 09-12-2006 08:11 PM

i'm 6'2" and only weigh 140 lbs... it doesn't help that i'm in cross country and barely eat that much though...

Elspode 09-12-2006 09:35 PM

Obviously, truly overweight people aren't responding much here...

Who am I to break that trend? I'm short and fat.

zippyt 09-12-2006 10:10 PM

6'1" 260-265 lbs ,
it can verry up to 10 lbs daily in the summer ,
drink LOTS of water and sweat it out .

I feel that I am about 30 or so lbs over what I should weigh

Jaydaan 09-12-2006 10:14 PM

Interesting question.. lets see.. I am 145lbs, and 5'2" Depending on the day, I can go from.. "hmm not bad for someone in her late 30's with 4 kids" to "omg!! I need to lose weight" Most of my clothes are canadian size 10/12 (med). So not model thin by any stretch of the imgaination, but I do not consider myself overly overweight. I should lose about 10 to please my dr, and my ego....

actually I'm 5'8" and i'm as heavy as i've ever been. i lift 5 days a week and run 6 days each week. i'll never be mistaken for a body builder but i am pretty damn toned with good muscle definition. if i do say so myself. ;)

*swoons* Oh, baby...baby, baby! Ha-cha-cha!

Madman 09-13-2006 09:12 AM

6'2", 203lbs (weight last night), 49 years old. Don't run anymore - leg injury. Walk about 5-10 miles a week at the spa or on my treadmill. Don't drink at all, smoke occasionally. Got love handles but not out of control. Large build but don't look fat, don't appear muscular. Big guy with a small limp.

No offense meant, Lookout. I was just thinking that that was only 20 pounds more than me, and if I stretched myself out another foot, I'd be pretty bony. Assuming you were about 6' tall.

Maybe we should do a silhouette thread, where we take a pic of our shadow when we are naked/in our skivvies. Lookout, you first ;).

Hippikos 09-13-2006 04:44 PM

185 lbs at 5ft10, gained 25 lbs after I stopped smoking.

The 42 09-14-2006 10:55 AM

I'm just about dead center of normal in the BMI thing, but it still bugs me that I weigh fifteen pounds more than my mother did at her wedding, and I'm not 25 yet...

Griff 09-14-2006 03:15 PM

I'm about 5' 9". I'm up 10 lbs to 175 since the bike error.

I just found, at my last check up, that I had shrunk a half inch, putting me at 5'-11 1/2" and gained 19 pounds = 209lbs. I'm 46, not sure when I began shrinking, but an inch seems harsh. Maybe you pissed off the nurse and she's messing with you?

Odd, since my clothes aren't getting any tighter. Would like to get back to 185 which is possible. Back to 175 and 6' and twenty six years old looks more out of the question.
