July 31, 2008: Phony Sheep
These sheep are made, (obviously), from used phones.
I wonder if they ring? http://cellar.org/2008/Sheep1.jpg http://cellar.org/2008/Sheep2.jpg http://cellar.org/2008/Sheep3.jpg |
They are wonderful! I hope that's an office lobby rather than a gallery - there should be more art in the workplace imo.
|
I see wires leading to them, so I assume they're working phones. Dare I ask where the keypad is?
|
Oh that's amazing. That's the best piece of sculpture I've seen in years!
|
Do androids dream of them?
|
So many puns, so little time.
I really like these, though. Very interesting. |
instead of "ring ring", would it go "baa baa"?
..i wonder if you could shear one.. |

That is most excellent. I want one.

in fact I want one woolly baaad, so I feel the need to ram the message home by lambasting ewe until I get one.

Oh, those are cute! :)
The heads/faces remind me of those tower-climbing babies, but these are cool, not weird. :D |
Cuuute. In a herbie hancock "rock-it" video, sort of way.
It might be creepy to be the night security guard however. "ring" "rrriiing" |
This could usher in a whole new era of phone sex.

I think the most cleverest part is their feet/paws/hooves/receivers.
