Repetitious Activities
1 Attachment(s)
Do you find comfort in doing things the same way every time?
In your experience, do you find that the blessing outweighs the curse? |
Put some pants on ya hippie.
|
How do you know I'm not wearing 80s short shorts?
|
cuz I don't think that drum has anything to do with the repetitious activity you were talking about.
|
Uggh. He plays the drums in hot pink 80's spandex. (he wears short shorts!) The worst part is, he thinks it makes him really rock. :)
No really, I've made french press coffee the same way for 7 years. People always say I make a great cup of joe. I think it's win win. There's no grand technique, just little practical measures that go into a good pot. If one of those is thrown off, it doesn't taste as good. And I get the most out of my bean without the bitter. Earl Grey is a finicky Tea, and people screw it up all the time. I watch them dump 16 0zs. of boiling water over the bag, leave it in the cup, and snap the lid on. Nooooz! Then again, I am the only crazy person I know that got a whole set of mugs devoted to the specific qualties that make a good cup of Earl Grey. I do that the same way every time because...why suffer the low quality when you know better? |
It's all about how you flick it, right Cic?
|
There is no flickin'. :(
Philistine. ;) |
I used to find a whole lot of comfort in doing things a certain way. Then my children utterly broke me, and now I'm happy just to get things done at all.

Flint, I bet you're good at archery or shooting. Aim small, miss small.
|
Flint, keep a close eye on that spot on your leg. If it changes shape, size or colour, itches, bleeds, or has more than two colours in it, see a doctor. It is probably just a regular mole but watch the little beggar. They can turn nasty.

He trying to out-Monk me.

Do you think that was inappropriate, then? Apart from being off thread, but that doesn't stop anyone here.
I was inclined to pass on information which I thought might be useful, and possibly life saving. Which reminds me; Lumberjim, you are definitely going to die. I don't have the details yet though, but I'll let you know as soon as anything comes up. :p |

It's not really surprising that an Australian would bring something like possible future skin cancer up.
Any informed Aussie knows we have the *highest incidence of skin cancer in the world. Most of us are a bit paranoid about it. * God I hope I've got this fact right. lol |

Repetitious Activities
I thought this was going to be a thread about explaining to your spouse how to put the cap back on the tooth paste.
 |
I have a really dumb question. I've seen the "fap fap fap" thingy before, but I thought it meant the noise you make from typing. Later I thought about it and realized it might be referring to another repetitious motion.
Which is correct? |
Ya. wtf?
|
The place to look up street/internet terms is Urban Dictionary
Fap is also a term of the internet culture, which means it is documented in NSFW * Encyclopedia Dramatica * NSFW http://cellar.org/2007/fapsomuch.jpg |
Fap fap fap is the sounds boys make and shlick shlick shlick is the sound girls make during their respective acts of repetition.

I see! I was wrong all along. Now I see too that there are Fappers Galore here, some of you guys are fappin' right now, aren't you? Yeah, I see ya.:right:
Good thing that dictionary exists, eh foot...otherwise that girl sound would be completely foreign to you, I'm sure. Bwaaa. Ha. Ha. I am stealing that cartoon title for my own. |

There are plenty of white people living in hot sunny areas of the US too. I think they're just a bit more modest than the average aussies. |
