Feb 5, 2009: Woodn't You Like A Vespa?
Well, woodn't you?
Carlos Alberto wood. He took a clapped out Vespa, removed the mechanicals, and built a whole new scooter from wood, to put them in. The result, as you can see, is beautiful. http://cellar.org/2009/Carlos-Alberto-Wooden-Vespa.jpg You'd be profiling on the boulevard in high style with this beauty. Of course with the original mechanicals, in a scooter exponentially heavier, profiling is all you can do. Oh, and pick a smooth surface, 'cause that wood seat would teach you why they call it hardwood. :thepain: link |
All those trees had to die for that scooter...Oh, the humanity!
The photo looks kind of..., uh..., never mind.
Sure it is, probably taken on the workbench and pasted on the "scenery" photo.
Because of my proximity to work, several of my cow orkers have suggested that I get a Vespa.
I'd like a cheaper one, please. |
Let the two-cycle stench begin... He should've converted it to electric.
New meaning to the term "getting wood"
Not very PC. It only gets tree miles to the gallon.
And what kind of sap would buy that? I'll go out on a limb and say knot many. OK, I'm done. I'll leaf now. :D |
Careless Vespas...

Pour the gas carefully, it might ruin the paint job. Not to mention the fire hazzard. I wonder how that hard wood will hold up to the 300 degrees of engine heat? Do you smell something burning?
Kinda goes against the grain, doesn't it?:D
I'm speechless. All I can think is "Why would somebody want to steal a doorknob off of a door?"
