Bitches about Tiki...

I have several, but you all go first.

*Sighs and shakes head*

Oh that'll help. thanks for that.

Tiki is a little quick to take offence for my comfort. But there are worse sins in the world. We none of us are perfect. I know I can come across as terribly smug and self-satisfied. Let's start a thread about what a bitch I am.

What about the children Jim? You're just not thinking about the children.

Undertoad 04-10-2009 05:10 PM

Jim, why do you want to rape Tiki?

BigV 04-10-2009 05:49 PM

I'll chime in.

Tiki went ahead an posted pictures of her new boat, DEPSITE the fact that I clearly and earnestly asked her not to.

How inconsiderate of her!

Tiki 04-10-2009 06:26 PM

Fuck you, Jim.

Cicero 04-10-2009 06:38 PM

Are you kidding? Tiki is hawt.

Do not besmirch the Tiki.

You guys may have your problems, but I'm bored with that. Get over it guys. Kiss, make up, or wtf ever.

:)

Elspode 04-10-2009 06:40 PM

I love you LJ, but you are often the first to have issues with Dwellars. Sometimes you turn out to be right, but not always.

Me, I just ignore all but the most blatant asshats.

So...where's the "Bitches about Elspode" thread?

Happy Monkey 04-10-2009 06:44 PM

I don't have any.

jinx 04-10-2009 06:45 PM

There are way bigger asshats than Tiki. See: politics forum.

sugarpop 04-10-2009 06:52 PM

Damn. I thought I was the biggest asshat in politics.

Elspode 04-10-2009 06:56 PM

I'm sorry, TW wears a size 1,000,000 asshat.

sugarpop 04-10-2009 07:11 PM

yes, I must admit, I have to give it up to tw, and ug, and a few others. I guess I am not such a bad egg after all. :)

monster 04-10-2009 07:33 PM

Dudes, it's just a clone thread..... chill  ...if you don't find it funny, ignore it like you do all the others....

Flint 04-10-2009 07:46 PM

You shut your mouth.

How can you say--Tiki goes about things the wrong way?
She is human, and she needs to be loved. Just like everybody else does.

DanaC 04-10-2009 07:47 PM

Oh Christ, Flint. That was a sudden unexpected trip down memory lane. I used to listen to that on headphones in a dark room...yes, I was that kind of teenager.

Shawnee123 04-10-2009 07:48 PM

Smith-rolled.

Morrissey makes Sting look like Paul McCartney. --Flint

monster 04-10-2009 07:52 PM

Oh, why does she give valuable time
To people who don't care if she lives or dies ?

DanaC 04-10-2009 07:54 PM

Hahahaha. I swear I can hear every intonation still.

lumberjim 04-10-2009 08:01 PM

it WAS just a clone thread.

but now, it's personal!

also,

Fuck you Jim

Tiiki 04-10-2009 08:03 PM

She has too few i's in her handle! and what's with that capital T?

I don't think I've ever heard the original of that. But I've heard the words, on "One Song to the Tune of Another" on "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue."

Tiki 04-10-2009 08:39 PM

Oh, and fuck you Jim.

Crimson Ghost 04-10-2009 11:03 PM

The only problem I have with Tiki is that time she caused Greg to have a serious surfing accident.

Tiki 04-10-2009 11:04 PM

Listen, you play with the ancient Polynesian gods, you get nearly drowned. I didn't make the rules.

Crimson Ghost 04-10-2009 11:06 PM

Good point.

capnhowdy 04-11-2009 12:12 AM

Any point is good at this point.

Juniper 04-11-2009 03:30 AM

Wasn't that the theme from "Charmed?"

I'm lame, I don't know that stuff. I'd tell you a funny story about me and the "Cops" theme, but that'd be thread hijacking. ;)

Anyone who poses with a nose ring and a choir robe is suspect, IMO. :D

xoxoxoBruce 04-11-2009 05:06 AM

Cloud told me Tiki lied about the choir robes. :haha:

Tiki 04-11-2009 04:13 PM

It's true... I didn't find them in a dumpster, I sewed them myself. :(

TheMercenary 04-11-2009 04:38 PM

Oh, I thought this was about girls who hung out around Tiki.

Juniper 04-11-2009 09:15 PM

I saw a bunch of red and white choir robes the other day when shopping in Goodwill (I love thrifting!) and I thought of Tiki. I very nearly bought one, thought it would make an awesome Halloween costume next year.

so, uh......what were you doing going through the dumpster?

monster 04-11-2009 09:28 PM

recycling through reuse. I love dumpster diving.

Tiki 04-11-2009 10:30 PM

What Monster said!

I also scored some really cool pressed-glass water glasses and a lectern. Oh, and a zillion bibles.

Another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

xoxoxoBruce 04-11-2009 11:13 PM

Dumpster diving will fuck up your back dozen different ways.:(

It's that last half-twist that does it.

lumberjim 04-11-2009 11:45 PM

we dumpster dove for a whil ein the early nineties.

mainly strategically timed raids on dunkin donuts, pizza hut and grocery stores

food being the main goal

DanaC 04-12-2009 05:20 AM

oh 'eck, that sounds like stuff me and J used to get up to Jim lol.

Shawnee123 04-12-2009 09:30 AM

I apologize, in advance.

seriously funny. I totally LOL'd but no one could hear it b/c my son has THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA'S STILL FLY cranked to an UNGODLY (esp. for Easter morning) eleven.

Cicero 04-12-2009 11:22 AM

We used to wait for the college kids to move out every year and go through their dumpsters. One friend found a great laptop and the other found a bunch of cash in an easter basket. It was like a goldmine every year. Here in NM we are more likely to find nasty diapers, so...not so great diving here.

Thank you.
I have my moments.

sugarpop 04-12-2009 08:56 PM

I have gotten two kitties from dumpsters. They were both really cool, great pets. I didn't dive for them though. Does that count?

monster 04-12-2009 09:28 PM

Mostly we find good building materials and shelving. Actually the best dumpster diving/skip trawling was in the UK -here people just put the good stuff on the kerb/curb so no need to rummage in the trash.

Shawnee123 04-12-2009 09:31 PM

A couple times a year there is a "big trash" pickup week. I'm sure lots of places do this, but before the city can pick a lot of it up someone has already grabbed it. It really works out well for everyone, even the poor soul I watched pick up an old plastic cracked watering can with no spout thingy left. ;)

monster 04-12-2009 09:44 PM

yeah, they do that here.

People do that in California too. You can find all kinds of great stuff in really good shape, including furniture.

Crimson Ghost 04-13-2009 06:19 PM

My first place was decorated in 'Early Junk Pile'.

Aliantha 04-13-2009 06:48 PM

We have curbside collection here too. There is sometimes some good stuff out there. It's always good to be able to get rid of some of that old junk that wont really fit in the boot of the car to take to the dump.

capnhowdy 04-13-2009 07:58 PM

My house looks like Sanford & Son's. Can't heppit.

Sundae 04-14-2009 11:18 AM

I know people (usually with really nice cars for some reason) who get all sorts of gems from skips, kerbs, charity shops etc.

I have never. Just not my brand of luck.
Or at least, I'm not interested enough to spend enough time looking.

Money now... I get plenty of that.
In the last week I've picked up 8p.
It all adds up you know!

Cicero 04-14-2009 12:08 PM

:(

This Tiki Bar is way too expensive for me. Damn!
