For Nirvana

I am sorry.

ZenGum 08-04-2011 01:55 AM

Now there's something you don't see everyday, a nice, dignified apology. It makes me happy.

Sundae 08-04-2011 04:55 AM

Did I miss something?
Not to rake anything up, just puzzled.

Actually I owe Nirvana an apology too.
Sorry.

Griff 08-04-2011 05:52 AM

Well done, mtp.

No, I owe Nirvana an apology. I am Sparticus, too. ;)

Well done, MTP. Just one reason that you're awesome.

Sorry.

Just me having a meltdown. Hopefully I'll get to be back on the thyroid meds on Saturday and it will be less likely to happen.

jimhelm 08-04-2011 12:50 PM

big of you.

I'm impressed. not that that's all that impressive.... but, yeah... nice.

morethanpretty 08-04-2011 08:20 PM

Doing what is right should not be impressive.

morethanpretty 08-04-2011 08:24 PM

*Sigh* I had decided I wasn't going to do this...but I'm gonna make excuses for myself anyway. Nirvana was right, I DO need meds. Problem is, I can't have 'em. I have to be off of them for full 2 weeks before I get radio-iodine. That is on Friday, so hopefully I'll be back on the meds and they'll fix my brain right up.

Aliantha 08-04-2011 08:28 PM

No one's prefect mtp, and I'm pretty sure we're all aware that things have been pretty tough for you lately.

I'd be pretty surprised if Nirvana couldn't cut you a bit of slack, whatever the circumstances were.

Just do your best. That's all anyone can ask for. xx

zippyt 08-04-2011 08:40 PM

Good Job Mtp !!!

Nirvana 08-04-2011 09:40 PM

I am sorry you took my post the wrong way MTP and I am sorry that any kind of health problems are happening to someone as young and nice as you are.

Nirvana 08-04-2011 09:59 PM

I wanted to say sorry my post was tardy. I only saw the thread when I posted or I would have posted right away. :)

morethanpretty 08-04-2011 10:05 PM

Thank you for the kind words although they have not been true lately. I am sorry that I have to have these health problems so young too, but compared to my sister...I am the lucky one. :(

That's not 'an excuse' sweetie, that's just letting us know what the problem's been.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Well, its just one of those things that I grew up being taught to take personal responsibility for EVERYTHING, especially for how I act. I know these are not the type of things my parents meant to instill in me were my fault, especially since my mom went through the same damn thing, so on an intellectual level I know I can't help being a tad crazy right now, but on a Catholic guilt level, I FEEL like its my fault. I grew up Methodist, but I'm pretty sure that this is what 'they' must be talking about when they talk about Catholic guilt.

The more you go through life, mpt, the more you realize the fallibility that exists in human nature. We really cant be perfect or act perfectly all the time. Owning up to it is just about the best you can do once it happens. Then let go of the guilt.

classicman 08-07-2011 12:13 AM

Good on you mtp. Color me impressed.
