final Tshirt design poll: the front logo

1 Attachment(s)
It looks like the #9 choice is a lock for the back of the shirt. In interest of giving the vocal minority that have spoken in favor of including the typewriters in the front logo design, I am doing one last poll to choose the favorite front logo. You can only vote once. Slang, this means you. Pick your favorite. this will be a short poll, so tell your buddies! 2 days. go!

old school

Old school, but increase the size so that it's readable.

I'm with her.

Pi 03-17-2004 08:02 AM

Just fine like that

Undertoad 03-17-2004 08:10 AM

The drop shadow on the old-school design needs to go.

lumberjim 03-17-2004 08:21 AM

i agree

OnyxCougar 03-17-2004 09:03 AM

old school.

lumberjim 03-17-2004 04:49 PM

wow, you were right, Elspode.

Katkeeper 03-17-2004 05:28 PM

Old school. Dropped shadow gone.

Brigliadore 03-17-2004 05:50 PM

Old school, drop shadow gone, but the cool font used in the new school logo. JMO

zippyt 03-17-2004 06:23 PM

Old school ,

Elspode 03-17-2004 09:52 PM

In case it isn't obvious from my posts up until now...old school.

I'm bookmarking this thread. I don't hear this very often, and I want to be able to refer to it when things aren't going so well... :D

Griff 03-18-2004 08:57 AM

ol scul

lumberjim 03-18-2004 01:48 PM

HUBRIS BOY!

let's have those original files you offered. looks like we're gonna need em

lumberjim 03-18-2004 05:18 PM

shit. i just realized that if we go with this old school front, and back as it is, "cellar.org" does not appear.

what to do?

Happy Monkey 03-18-2004 06:01 PM

I'd say either add a small .org to the front, or a small cellar.org underneath the current back pattern.

wolf 03-19-2004 01:44 PM

how's about putting the new style cellar.org on the back, below and to the right of the tagline?

Elspode 03-19-2004 01:52 PM

And, if that looks unbalanced, move the Undertoad over to the left so that it looks more balanced in a stairstep sort of layout...

A crude rearrangement on my part, but you get the idea...just a suggestion, but I think it flows better.

Happy Monkey 03-19-2004 11:08 PM

I like that one.

lumberjim 03-19-2004 11:25 PM

the problem i had with doing it that way was that the toad's left hand comes out over the words without obscuring too much to be able to read it if its to the right, when it sits to the left, its tough to read the tag line.....i'll fuck around with it some more.....

wolf 03-20-2004 12:23 AM

COOL!

lumberjim 03-20-2004 12:26 AM

sorry the image is so big. i seem to have lost control of my image program's resize capability......just stand back from your monitor :)

Elspode 03-20-2004 12:31 AM

Nicely artistic solution, I think. I'll take one!

Thanks for working so hard on this, LJ. You done good.

I thought you did that intentionally, so we could appreciate the fine detail work ...

i will be meeting with the tshirt guy soon. does anyone have any last minute requests? I will be getting prices for short, and long sleeve tshirts, ringer tees, baby doll tees, pocket tees. does anyone want any other specific type of shirt? sweatshirts? he says he can get whatever, but if it's just one or 2 of a certain kind of shirt, the price may be higher. unless he happens to have what you want in stock. if you DO have a special request, let me know what size/color so that when I ask him, i am speaking in specifics. Again, I'll put up a form with colors and prices per shirt with shipping included.

xoxoxoBruce 03-20-2004 10:15 AM

Nice design, what took you so long?:haha:

wolf 03-20-2004 10:24 AM

I'll be ending up with a couple of each in some assortment of short and long sleeve. Sweatshirts might be cool ...

Speaking for the not-really-slim group, find out what are the maximum sizes in each category.

Also, if there is a separate price for creating iron-on transfers, I have a leather jacket that I have been trying to create a logo for. If he would sell transfers, we could put the logos on anything we wanted, thus proving once again that we are freethinking non-conformist radicals.

Of course, since I may have a few transfers left, all I need is a decent quality copy of the graphic we are using and I might be able to make my own, especially since I don't believe he has anything in 4x.

lumberjim 03-20-2004 03:37 PM

will do, rich

edit:

rich, if you'd like, i can email you the higher resolution images i've been using to design them.

pm me your email address, and i'll send 'em to ya

Not immediately ... but for something this cool, I usually get at least a spare or two, in case of a laundering tragedy.

lumberjim 03-24-2004 07:16 PM

ok, i finally got together with the shirt guy tonight. I will be starting a new thread with the final prices and order form soon.

good news for you pocket t peeps, he can print above the pocket, so you won't lose your front logo.

he said the typewriters might be alittle muddy, but he'll do what he can to maintain the images.

stay tuned

Beestie 03-24-2004 08:28 PM

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIii like it.
