What effect do you think this film will have on the American psyche and foreign policy?

Hopefully it'll loosen people up and help them try deal with it, but realistically, very little.

A overall good effect on American viewers, but the movie will not influence change of foreign policy.

Are you expecting this film to have any effect on foreign policy? I heard it is expected to be a good movie, but, well, it's just a movie.

A lot of folks are refusing to see it for various reasons. Some adamantly refuse to see it, yet have vicious criticism of it.

When I saw it, at the end, the theater was silent as a tomb. The impact on the audience was incredible.

Since foreign policy is not determined by the American public, and instead, determined by an elitist lunatic and his closest eight-ball buddies, I'm going to go ahead and guess that it won't really have much of an effect.

As for the movie itself, I'm probably not going to see it. I don't need Hollywood to tell me how to feel about those people. I'm already proud of them all.

I heard that this movie is more about what a shitty job the government did then what happened on that plane.

For those of you that have seen it, is that the case?

I dont think this movie is going to effect anything. The people who arente ready to see it wont watch it, and those of us that dont mind being reminded will if we want to... I doubt it will change anyones mind or anything like that...

Oh yes. The level of spastic incoordination on the part of the military, the FAA and the govt was embarrassing and disillusioning. I felt bad for the people who were trying to do their jobs and had their hands tied.

SteveBsjb 05-02-2006 07:26 PM

But, Jordon, do you think it's going to change foreign policy?
