Nonsense!!

2008 at the latest.

It takes at least a year for the government to negotiate a contract to gather information that they "forget" to forbid the contracting company to use later.

I hope everyone understands what it means when when Lockheed Martin is the low bidder on a Pentagon contract to create a National Database. We are being sold out by the terabyte, people. We have become cattle in the eyes of the Federal Government. The commoditization of the American public, history will show, began 48 hours after Sep 11.

And the best poker player in America still doesn't know what the game is.

Honestly, we've been screwed since well before the Kennedy Administration, but only now are we sufficiently aware of the technology to recognize this.

I just heard a piece on NPR about a guy who was getting on a plane and his baggage was very close to weight limit. The counter agent said to him "If you get a lot of material at the convention, you may go over the weight limit."

He hadn't told her that he was going to a convention, he hadn't booked the flights through the convention organizers, there was nothing that would have let the agent know that he was going to a convention other than the probability that his CC had been data mined.

or he looked like the last 250 folks that were going to the same place , for a convention

That's what I would've said too, zippy... Airport counter people are a lot more observant and intelligent than their mean, vapid attidutes would suggest.

Sometimes when people are waiting in line, they have conversations, about stuff...

Bullitt 11-06-2006 10:08 AM

That was the most rediculous and absurd thing I've watched in awhile.
ACLU reminds me of PETA, just utter garbage. Pure sensationalism that preys on people's emotions.

Flint 11-06-2006 10:14 AM

The only absurd part, to me, was the guy's reaction. "They" spring this stuff on us slowly, so we don't get upset and start asking questions.
