St. George Island, Fla.
We get a beach house here for the family every year. One of the few remaining places where there are few crowds, low keyed town, and not much happ'n. If you want rest, relaxation, quiet, none of the hustle and bustle of crowded resorts, some of the best seafood and shell fish (mainly oysters for this is the home of the oyster), this is the place for you and your family.

This one is actually one we took a few miles from our house on the boat.

Nice! From GoogleEarth, most of the roads look a bit unpaved - which is welcome to me. Last week, I tried to escape to Gulf Shores, Al - pleasant but crowded. Lotsa sirens as the first responders had a helluva time with the nuttier vistors.
