Why is it parents are alway ragging about kids getting themselves and everything around them filthy, yet take pictures of them to giggle over with friends, when they do it?

DucksNuts 07-20-2007 07:16 PM

I love kids getting dirty, its part of kid-ding.

I will often take the boys out into the mud puddles and as we live on a channel irrigated property....they are in there with me when there is something to be *fixed*.

All three of us usually need a hose off afterwards and I ALWAYS win the mud fights :D

Using the Boppy to prop up the tiny one! Those things are multi-useful. Also good for tummy time.

My son from the local paper yesterday. He's the 8yo one, the other one is his swim coach, taken at the Swim-A-Thon fundraiser last week.

DucksNuts 07-22-2007 09:15 PM

How did the drive go Monster?

monster 07-22-2007 10:52 PM

they raised the aimed $3000. was tougher going than last year, though -there is less spare cash around.....

monster 07-22-2007 10:55 PM

...the team of 50ish plus coaches and parents and pool lifeguards swam 100 miles. Our eldest did 6 miles. She's 9. I think that's pretty rocking :D

/proud parent moment

(I did 1.25)

DucksNuts 07-23-2007 12:46 AM

Justified proud parent moment I reckon.
