Ick. I feel so, so sorry for the folks who had to clean him up.
|
I have 3 reactions
1) (total body shudder of revulsion) 2) why do people have to share disgusting stuff like this? Thank you Bruce! (sarcasm) 3) maybe he would have wanted to go like that. Okay, not precisely like that, but if he loved his animals so much, maybe he didn't mind that his earthly remains went to feed them. |
Pets are good for your health
This story makes a nice dessert immediately following dinner.
Yummmmmm.....necro stew for his menagerie. It was nice of the lizards to help out the spiders too.... Thank you Bruce..... And I thought I had a bad day..... |
Ick! Yuck!
Still, "from ashes to ashes, from dust to dust..." |
and from man to corpse

Even that would gag a maggot

I've heard a lot of stories about old women dying with their cats being trapped inside with them, then eating their corpse. On the flipside, I've also heard about dog owners dying and when the police break the door down to get in the house they find the dog, also dead of starvation at the owners feet.

Big EWW. I don't think the CSI writers ever went that far. One case where truth is stranger than fiction! |
The major difference between fact and fiction is that fiction has to be somewhat believable.

Grim.
I don't think I'll complain next time one of my boys punctures me while doing their patented Kamikaze Flying Kuddle (usually when I'm naked, coming out of the bathroom, adding loose wet hair on my clean skin to the shock and distress of claws buried in breasts) How long does it take to die from a black widow bite? Can you imagine lying there alive but immobile for days and actually feeling them start their feast? |

BRISBANE, Australia: An Australian woman was killed by a pet camel given to her as a 60th birthday present after the animal apparently tried to have sex, police said Sunday.
The woman, whose name was not released, was killed Saturday at her family's sheep and cattle ranch near Mitchell, 600 kilometers (350 miles) west of the Queensland state capital Brisbane, state police Detective Senior Constable Craig Gregory said. The 10-month-old male camel — weighing about 150 kilograms (330 pounds) — knocked the woman to the ground, lay on top of her, then exhibited what police suspect was mating behavior, Gregory said. "I'd say it's probably been playing, or it may be even a sexual sort of thing," Gregory said, adding the camel almost suffocated the family's pet goat by straddling it on several occasions. Camel expert Chris Hill said he had no doubt the camel's behavior was sexual. Hill, who has offered camel rides to tourists for 20 years, said young camels are not aggressive, but can be dangerous if treated as pets without discipline. The fate of the camel was not known. The woman was given the camel in March as a birthday present from her husband and daughter. "She had a love of exotic pets," Gregory said. |

I don't think that black widow bites are fatal to grown men--certainly not a single bite.
