Dude from Melbourne between 1991-2004 *allegedly* drugged and tried to rape over 22 women (more will come out of the woodwork now I think).

He would buy them Hot Chocolate and spike the drink.

I read these stories and go "wtf? how you be so stupid?", but then I think...I have done much dumber stuff than accepted a ride home with a guy I dont know, or a cup of hot chocolate.

Meh, when I think of the strangers I have had one niters with etc.....

I've had my drink spiked lasy year, with GHB, luckily (?) I had a bad enough reaction that I didnt make it out of the club.

That was from a story back in July, a couple of potential victims were speaking out to warn women about this guy.

I guess that prompted a few more women to come forward and lead to the guys arrest.

I thought you were talking about someone from the band Hot Chocolate (talk about a politically incorrect band name) when I read the title of the thread.

I'm with you on this one ducksy. When I think of the situations I've been in with 'strange men' I consider myself lucky these days too.

I think rapists are supposed to look ugly and grungy and probably supposed to smell bad too.

Well, they're a bunch of black dudes aren't they? I thought it wasn't PC to refer to African Americans as anything other than that? Chocolate? That's ok is it? If they call themselves that...but what if anyone else says it?

Probably so. Mind you, I do think there are aspects of the whole PC movement which have helped millions of people. There are drawbacks too. I suppose it's like everything else. There are good and bad points. The whole lot of it is a bit tiresome lately though. To me anyway.

Heh. The part of Bolton I used to live in was a place forgotten by political correctness:P Our mates used to refer to me as J's 'Maud'*, or 'bird'. Never really bothered me.

The problem is that everyone in the US wants people to use the term African American for every person with dark or black skin. Often they are neither.
