Pony Play
 

Okay, so this one of those sex things I sincerely don't "get." Not just that it doesn't turn me on, it just seems weird to me (along with the "smooshing" thing [i.e., food] but that's another story.)

But yesterday, on the tv show Bones (which I love), they had an ep centered around a group of pony players. Anybody see this?

It was pretty interesting, because they put forth a lot of facts I'd never realized, such as -- it dates back to Greece, and gave lots of historical references and antecedents. It actually started to make a kind of sense to me.

Would you ever consider being a pony or rider?

I don't understand what pony play is. Is it where one person rides around on the others back?

Isn't that what you do with your kids?

I haven't looked it up. I am sure there will be some very interesting sites pop up.

It's a dom/sub variation, with one person pretending to be a horse, usually wearing a mask, bit, and harness, and the other person being the "rider."

It is pretty much a guarantee that any sexual activity whose name involves the word "play" is only going to make me laugh.
