Photo shop help
1 Attachment(s)
I have a photo w/text that's mis-spelled. I can change the tx., but have not a clue about redoing the back ground color.
The word across is spelled wrong. Can someone help me? Tnks. bb |
Have you flattened or rasterized the image? Is it still in Layers?
Or did you copy (which it looks like) the the whole thing and add text? |
If the whole thing is a scan, the fastest way would probably be:
- using the eyedropper tool, option-click (or alt-click on PC) on the yellow background - draw a selection box around the letters CROSS - use the move tool to drag it over the extra 'C' |

Easier to just fix it than explain how to do it. Here you go:

Do you want the background in white?

give a man a fish, and he eats for one day.
teach him to fish..... |
Problem is, I don't actually know how to fish (i.e. photoshop, which is what he asked about.) I just went and stole one from the neighbor (used MS Paint.)
|
well, i'm afraid we'll have to stone you now.
|
Thanks all. bb

If it is in a non layred form ie gif, jepg, you can use the clone tool to make the background cover the orgional text and type over it.
To change the background you have a number of options: 1.) first you can erase the background and put a new color over it 2.) you can directly paint over the background 3.) You can use the curve tool and adjust the background color layer, but to do this you have to just select the background which can be kind of tricky. Options 1 and 2 are the most strait froward. |
