Is it really a job if you don't get paid for it?

I know a handful of people making money from home but they are not jobs. A job is completely different than working your own business.

If you are talking about over the net jobs, I would suggest looking for a small business that you can run instead. IMO online or work from home jobs are very rare.

Maybe someone will have some better info for you.

I know several people that work from home (including myself,) but they were all regular employees first, who made themselves so indispensible that when they decided to stop working their workplaces were willing to compromise in order to keep them at the company in whatever capacity possible.

I also knew a guy who did tech support from home--it was set up just like a phone sex line, actually, the company had a main number that got routed to his (or some other tech's) house during his "on" hours.

A lot of answering services work like that too.

Here's a list I came upon in a recent magazine. The article's thrust was making extra cash while you are working at your "real" office job. Can't vouch for any of these, but worth a look.

Actually, those rates aren't bad and that's stuff I need to do but suck at.

$40 isn't a huge sacrifice to try it out.

Cloud 12-04-2007 08:54 AM

let us know if you try it
