I think the roadies/stage hands are taking the expression, "Break a leg", too seriously.

or at least "sprain an ankle"

It just needs a little gaffer's tape is all.

Those loose, coiled piles are designed to "give" a little. It's arranged that way on purpose.

Plus, those damn musicians like to dance and jump around a lot. What's a poor sound tech to do??

That's pretty much what our stage looks like when we play, minus the grand piano and the drum kit.

*Great* pic, BTW. Curious things I'm noticing looking at it closely:

1) All of the amps are PA mic'ed...except for George's.
2) Where are the vocal mics and stands?
3) There's a really nice looking Gretsch laying on the floor behind Ringo.
