Men....srsly

You think women are complicated?? No no nononononnonno

Women will lay it out for you in ....idiot terms even. We dont want you to have to guess.

Men.....meh....complicated...make decisions FOR you and not let you in on it.

Young guys are easy to understand.

The old guys get, the weirder they get.

I.dont.get.it

We get wierder as we get older cause we've been hanging out with women that much longer.

Seriously. I understand any non communication between partners, and, especially any dishonesty overt or covert is because of fear. You might see something in or about me that I don't want you to see....so, I'm dishonest in some way shape or form. Or I don't tell you what's going on.

Then I know men who say that only a pussy talks like that.

I only bring up stuff like that with friends. I do believe it is the real deal. You don't like what your getting from a guy, DX him quick. It's worth being alone for a while to respect yourself enough to not put up with bullshit.

In my experience, there are definitely women who want you to have to guess. Or, more accurately, want you to read their minds.

Not me....but....Im just pissie at the moment

Maybe men just secretly want to be women? Hmmm...or maybe not.

Men aren't that complicated in my experience. Usually I try to think of the most brutish reason for what they do and it is usually the correct answer.

Not a bad theory really. do you have any idea how much more energy men have to expend just to get sex?

LabRat 05-02-2008 11:15 AM

Proabably less than we do having to fend you meatheads off!!

Coming up with creative excuses takes a lot of brain power, you know?

Cicero 05-02-2008 11:30 AM

Oooh. This conversation is giving me a headache. Not tonight, hon.
:D

Time and time again even though you've asked to be in on the decisions. Or....better still...they make a decision based on "can we talk about x-y-z" and even though you've asked to come back and talk about it later, they will still go ahead and proceed as if you agreed with them completely.

There should be no dishonesty to begin with. Trust me, I have lived with this for a long time and it only creates HUGE issues that will be turned around to be the womans fault, even though she was not the dishonest party. Trying to regain trust after habitual dishonesty is a very difficult thing to achieve and may never happen. Dishonesty is all about being insecure in your own self or, better still, absolute guilt in which the man is trying to justify his actions. Other people don't inflict dishonesty on you. Sorry, I completely have to disagree on this one. Experience talking.

This shit goes both ways - There are NO absolutes. I could write a friggin book about it. We are all individuals, and although there are tendencies based on race, religion gender... we are still individuals. Not all men "this" or all women "that". thats a bunch of shit - It has more to do with cultural and societal upbringing and familial examples, or lack thereof, than anything innate.

Gimme a friggin break.

classicman 05-02-2008 02:41 PM

Ohhh and honesty???? Please do not get me started!

Cicero 05-02-2008 02:49 PM

This guy asked me the other day if I thought I was being deceptive because I look great with make-up on and all done up, and like total crap when I don't.

My makeup is one of the first of many lies, lies, lies.....Apparently...Of course I don't think I'm trying to convince him of anything either way. Sometimes I'm not sure if my looks are any of his flipping business. Never made them his business and contrary to his belief, I wasn't looking to be attractive to him or unattractive to him in the first place.

Yes, complex and dull at times.

elSicomoro 05-02-2008 02:54 PM

I think my wife would say that I've gotten wiser as I've gotten older. That could just be me...but I think in general that people are willing to tolerate less bullshit as they get older. I look back at how I was 5 or 10 years ago and I'm like, "Jesus Christ, I was retarded!"

classicman 05-02-2008 03:16 PM

"yes Dear....." :)
