(AP Photo/Timothy Jacobsen) FBI investigators stands beside a rental truck being used to transport evidence Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at the Frederick, Md., apartment of a researcher who may have had access to anthrax while doing work for Fort Detrick. Investigators blocked the entrance to Detrick Plaza Apartments next to the main gate into the military post while they removed materilas in black garbage bags. Ryder can't seem to avoid PR nightmares. After the Oklahoma bombing, Ryder decided to re-color the fleet from yellow to white. And now ... we've got the FBI using their rental truck to remove "evidence" from the apartment of a guy alleged to have had access to anthrax. That really Hertz! |
Wasn't it a Ryder truck used to bomb the WTC in 1993?
And the dumbass went back for his deposit.... |

WTC 1993
According to the documents filed by the FBI at the hearing Thursday, Salameh rented a Ford Econoline Van in his own name from a Ryder truck rental agency in Jersey City at some point during the week of the bombing. Several hours after the noontime explosion Friday, he returned to the agency and reported that the van had been stolen.

Ryder didn't re-color their fleet
Ryder didn't re-color their fleet after the OK city bombing. Ryder sold off their "yellow truck" business (see http://www.yellowtruck.com) and kept their logistics and transportation business (the white trucks..see http://www.ryder.com)
