Skin tag
 

I have a skin tag (a small harmless, but painful growth) under one breast. And no, there will not be pics. Has anyone removed one of these? I am debating cutting it off with nail clippers, but am faint-hearted because of the possible pain.

tie a piece of dental floss around it very tightly. it will starve and fall off by itself after a few days.

or, you can have a doctor remove it--I've done that, too, especially with large ones.

I have an anal tag thanks to piles a long while back. I can't imagine trying to remove it any time soon.

Painful how?
Go to a doctor. I'd never advocated self surgery. And if it's painful just being there, I'd suggest that involves blood and nerves and things (that's the technical description). Removing it could mean a painful mess.

I recall hearing something about using New Skin (almost like clear nail polish) to "starve" a skin tag - not sure if it works.

SG, painful is because it is right at bra line, and keeps getting rubbed and irritated. It may involve nerves, but I think I may just try the dental floss thing, or that freeze away wart stuff.

Go to wlagreens and you can pick up a remover. You can freeze it off yourself.

I never knew you could do anything about them except have a doctor remove them. Blech. I also have a few I'd like to zap, but I'm a wimp.

Is this the too-much-information thread, because I have a pimple on my left nut that's the size of... my left nut.

How do you know which is the pimple and which is the nut?

The pimple is the one that gives off the most milky white fluid.

Have it cut off in the office of a professional. Painless, except for the shot of local under the skin, oh, that and the bill afterwards.
