Is there a way to post pictures without using a link? thanks bunches!

Not that I know of. You still need to use a hosting site. Image shack works the best IMHO because most work servers don't block the link to it. I use to use photobucket but they started to block that and a number of other pics linked from there, which is why you see the red x instead of the pic.

yes. hit 'go advanced'

then click 'manage attachments'

you can either upload from local files, or upload from a url.

there are size restrictions though.

Well, yes. But it's how I upload all mine.
Means they stay around for longer too (none of the red crosses when you go back a year or so later).
